A motorbike gearbox vibration dataset is available for free commercial or individual use, useful for design of applied condition monitoring systems:
Prior to Viva Technics, Keyan was a post-doctoral research associate in Ajayan Research Group at Rice University. During 2009 to 2011, he received both his MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnics Institute, ranked 20th in the US in Mechanical Engineering program at the time. He co-authored 24 papers, cited over 2000 times, a patent, and a book chapter. Keyan's computational nano-composite paper on graphene was highlighted by Sir Novoselov, the legendary 2010 Nobel Laureate in physics in his 2010 speech to Materials Research Society in San Francisco. He is the recipient of 2010 Robert Lichten Award for innovation from the American Helicopter Society.
Prior to Viva Technics, Kayvan has been developing data processing systems for intelligent condition monitoring and robotics hands. He is the recipient of 2010 Lemelson-MIT Rensselaer Student Prize, consequently recommended by Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, a board member at New York Stock Exchange, IBM, FedEx, and one of the members in the US President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. He co-authored 21 papers, cited over 2400 times and served as a referee for over 30 journals including Neurocomputing, Soft Computing, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, and Computers in Medicine and Biology, and New Journal of Physics.
